



Manage Categories
Categories are used to categorize posts. You do this by checking the appropriate boxes in the features sidebar in the write a post-modus. Doing this carefully will ensure that content of posts will be easy to find for the other users. To manage your categories, add a new category, edit or delete one go to the Admin panel.
- Click on “Categories” in the “Manage” menu at the horizontal navigation
To add a new category
- Next to Categories you see the option “Add new”, click on this or scroll down to Add new category
- Now you can give the new category a name and choose a category parent. If you don’t choose a parent category your new category will be a parent category itself
- Click on “Add Category”
Edit a category
- In the categories menu (you get there when you click on “Categories” in the Manage menu), you see next to the categories the options “Edit” or “Delete”
- To edit a category click “Edit”
- Now you can edit the name or the category parent and save these changes by clicking “Edit Category”
Delete Category
- To delete a category click next to it on “Delete” (in the categories menu)
- Now you have to confirm this action to make sure you want the category to be deleted
