I just entered a new category but I don’t see it on the homepage?

I just entered a new category via Manage and Add Category. I do see it in Write-mode, but I don’t see it on the homepage?
Categories are only shown in the homepage-navigation if there is a post inside the category. That’s why you do see it in Write, but not on home. If you want the category to be shown on home, but have no content to fill it up yet, I usually add one post, using these categories and naming it "This catagory is empty".
